This is from Soundwave. He's a very good friend of mine... And he's "inorganic", like I am.

[ It's been about two weeks since Pyrrha had disappeared from the house, and Jaune hasn't been coming out of their newly decorated basement a lot. Visitors were welcome, of course, it's not as if he had locked himself up, but naturally he hasn't been the most social ever since Helisium. They had a new life prepared for each other; the basement was their new home and outside of it was a future they could only have dreamed of.
And now it's all gone.
And it's not the only thing, it seems! Jaune storms out of the basement and joins Penny in the living room, looking a little more animated than he has in the past few weeks. He's pacing erratically as he looks around. ]

[ even as someone who hasn't lived for a long time, Penny can at least understand the sadness that Jaune is feeling. it was obvious that he and Pyrrha were close, and to have someone like that suddenly disappear... it has to be rough. she's been doing her best to spend time with him and lift his spirits, but she has to wonder if it's helping.

I'm not sure. I've never had something like this happen to me before.
[ no one that Penny knows on a deep basis has left yet. she's incredibly lucky in that sense, but she knows that it's only a matter of time, in a way. ]
But I know that if I was feeling alone or hurt, I would want to spend time with people I care about. It may not make everything go away, but it it always helps a little bit.
