[ well, she would have broken into a run, had it not been for her hearing baymax's computerized voice. her curiousity makes her stop dead in her tracks again, and she cautiously looks beyond tadashi to see if her initial perception was right. ]

[ Tadashi can't believe what he just heard at first, which is why he looks at Baymax with such surprise in his face. And it's this instance that Baymax takes the conversation in his hands.
The robot blinks, and the sound of something clicking inside him can be heard. ]
[ honestly, penny is at a loss. on one hand, she could make another break for it and definitely shake off her pursuers, keeping the extent of her secret safe for another day. on the other, running would mean throwing away an opportunity to meet another robot... maybe even one she could relate to.
it's mostly tadashi's presence that is worrying her as she stays locked in place, her eyes flickering between the two of them. what should she do? ]
[ What should she do, indeed? He's really confused now, but he trusts Baymax's sensors more than anything. He worked hard to build those, after all!
He looks at Penny and sees how worried she looks, and he can't help but feel bad. He was probably a bit too aggressive in wanting to help. This isn't the first time something like that has happened. ]
Hey, sorry, [ He begins softly, and he takes a small step back to give her some space. ] Didn't mean to scare you. [ Tadashi stops there for now, giving the girl some space to respond or retreat, if she so wants to. ]
[ there's a moment of hesitance in penny, wondering if she should stay or flee. the latter would definitely be the safest decision, but would it be the right one? she can't sense any hostility from either of them, and it's not as if she can't defend herself.
still, it's the secrecy about herself that she's most concerned with. ]
[ Huh! Nobody's really asked that before, nor has Tadashi paused to think about it. Baymax doesn't have a very personable AI. At least, he sure doesn't think so. He's made to heal the sick, and has a learning matrix, but to think of Baymax as a friend is kind of odd, isn't it?
